Zelensky: No democratic elections next year in Ukraine

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that their will be no democratic elections i Ukraine in 2024 and that he has decided to continue to be the president of the country as long as the war with Russia continues.

Zelensky told AP news agency that all resources must be spent on fighting Russia.

Apparently democracy as a form of governance cannot solve the problems that the country is facing in the war with Russia according to Zelensky, and must be solved with a different form of governance.

“I don’t think now is the right time for elections,” said Zelensky.
