While Russia and the USA are trying to find a peace agreement on their proxy war in Ukraine, Europe wants to continue the war - newsjivecom
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin plan to meet in Saudi Arabia. Kier Starmer is not invited (X).

The Trump administration seems to have reached an agreement with the Kremlin for a bilateral summit in Saudi Arabia to end the war in Ukraine and attempt to find a peace agreement by the end of February.

But perhaps the most striking aspect to these circumstancens, is that no representatives from the US allies, including the UK, the EU, NATO, and Ukraine itself with Volodymyr Zelensky at the forefront, are invited to participate, when Ukraine’s “fate” and NATO:s future expansion plan is to be discussed and negotiated by the great powers.

Now that peace negotiations are set to begin between, they are being conducted between the real power players on the field, that is, the USA and Russia, with seemingly no one else involved.

Donald Trump’s Ukraine envoy, Keith Kellogg, confirmed this on Saturday, that the peace talks will be held between the US and Russia, and that Europe will not be part of these talks

It has long been argued that the war between Russia and Ukraine is actually a proxy war between the US and Russia’s power elite, much like during the Cold War, which never truly ended. And that NATO, the UK, the EU, and Ukraine’s current regime are merely extensions of the US, serving as pawns in its geopolitical interests and expansion plans.

At least, Russia has consistently maintained this view, that the real Ukraine war began with the US backed Maidan coup in 2014, when the Kremlin friendly president, Viktor Yanukovych (by the West considered a Kremlin puppet) was replaced with violence with Petro Poroshenko (by Russia considered a US puppet) and later with Volodymyr Zelensky.
