She blew up a house when she got drunk – Now she sues the pub were she got drunk as responsible for the incident

A woman was driving drunk and crashed into a house and damaged the gas line, causing an explosion that injured seven people and destroyed four houses. Now she is suing the pub where she got drunk as responsible for the house to blow up when she crashed into it.
Daniella Leis, 26, was driving drunk home from Marilyn Manson concert at the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario, Canada when she crashed into the house and the explosion occurred.
In October 2020, Leis pleaded guilty to four counts of careless driving causing bodily harm and was sentenced to three years in prison, CBS reports.
But Leis doesn’t think she is totally responsible for the explosion and the damages. She blames the pub, a company by the name of Ovations Ontario Food Services, as complicit to the accident.
Leis claims in her lawsuit against the pub, that they should not have served her more alcohol. Leis claims that “they knew or should have known that she was or would become intoxicated”, and they did not find out how she was going to get home when she left the pub or tried to prevent her from drove home drunk.
