A bull shark bit the hands off a 55-year-old Canadian female tourist, when she tried to take a selfie with the killer machine a few yards into the water.
The incident took place along the shore of a Caribbean beach last Friday. According to local sources, the woman had one of her arms amputated below the wrist and the other half way up her forearm.
According to this shark “expert,” sharks are not as dangerous as people think, and that people have too much prejudice and ignorance about sharks, their behaviors, and their true nature. He tried to demonstrate all this while being filmed, standing in the water surrounded by dozens of bull sharks, when he was suddenly attacked on camera and had half his leg bitten off by one of the beasts.
People don’t seem to realize the dangers of animals like sharks. There have been several incidents over the years where people have approached these beasts believing they are kind, cute, and gentle animals like any other pet.
A lot of memes have also been created about this stupid human behavior.
