Pamela Anderson says she needed security all the time when she travelled during the “Baywatch”-years

The actress Pamela Anderson says in an interview with Variety that she needed protection basically all the time when she travelled during the years she was at the height of her career as a superstar at the TV-show Baywatch. A show that was exported to more then 150 countries around the world.
When Pam Anderson married Tommy Lee back in 1995, she became famous all over the world because of her role as “C.J.”, the blonde bombshell beach guard, wearing a tight sexy red Baywatch swimsuit, and whose mission was to run around the beaches of Los Angeles and saving people from drowning. Because of her fame she says she always required and needed security whenever she traveled.
Pam Anderson mentions some crazy incidents that occurred back in the days. While introducing her film “Barb Wire” at the Cannes Film Festival three months after the wedding, boats nearly collided as cameramen tried to take a pictures of her. She says she was nearly crushed by a mob during an appearance in Uruguay that turned into a riot.
