The Hungarian police has issued an European arrest warrant for two German citizens suspected of several violent street attacks in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

A 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both of German nationality, believed to belong to the “far-left extremist” group, Antifa, is said to have together with four other Antifa-members – who already have been arrested by police – unprovokedly attacked and beat up pedestrians they met on the streets of Budapest in Hungary.

The Hungarian investigators believe the motives for the attacks, is that the group presumed the victims to be “far-right” sympathizers, Hungary Today reports.

First some Polish tourists were attacked, with two of the victims suffering form serious fracture injuries. The next day a man was attacked in a similar way, suffering from minor injuries.

Later on the evening a couple returning from a concert, were beaten up badly and the man was seriously injured. Even a German tourist couple was reported to have been “seriously assaulted” by the alleged thugs.
