German ballet director suspended after attacking a critic by smearing poo into her face

A German ballet director at the Hannover state opera in Germany, by the name of Marco Goecke has been suspended from his work, after he attacked a newspaper critic by smearing dog sh*t into her face on Monday.
It is reported that Goecke got so upset by the negative critics that he had recieved from the journalist, Wiebke Huester, in an earlier review, that he decided to bring along some animal fece to the current event, and attack Huester with it.
First Goecke asked Huester what she was doing there. After that he pulled out a paper bag with animal feces and smeared her face with the contents, before making running out from a packed theater foyer.
The chocked Huester identified the substance as dog poo and said she had filed a criminal complaint against Goecke.
According to Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Goecke didn’t know Huester but was apparently very upset by the previous review she had made of his performance during a production he staged in the Dutch seat of government, The Hague.
Goecke is said to have threatened to ban her from the ballet and accused her of being responsible for people canceling season tickets in Hannover.
Officials from the opera house has posted an apology to Huester for the incident on its website, and said that her “personal integrity” was violated “in an unspeakable way.”
