King Salman of Saudi Arabia has decided to invite the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi to his country for a meeting between the two countries in Riyadh.

This invitation comes just days after China mediated with diplomacy and helped the two countries to resolve their problems and start to restore diplomatic relations.

Saudi Arabia and Iran announced last week after Chinese president Xi Jinping brokered a deal, that they would restore diplomatic ties and commit to “non-interference” in each other’s internal affairs.
