He got world famous after trying to troll Greta Thunberg on Twitter just the other day, to which Greta responded by insinuating that he has a small penis. But now the “Bugatti” influencer Andrew Tate has been arrested in Romania togheter with his brother Tristan Tate and a female police officer, on allegations of organized crime, human trafficking and rape.
The trio was arrested by masked Romanian special forces, the so called Romania’s Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) on Thursday evening in Bucharest. They are accused of forming a criminal group who are suspected of having kidnapped two women, one of them an American citizen. But according to the police, there are at least six women captive in houses surrounding Bucharest, where they are suspected to have been sexually assaulted and forced to produce pornography for social media under threats of violence.
“If we say criminal group organization, it means that it is not just the two of them. It means there are others.”, said Sorin Ovidiu Bălan exclusively for Antena3 CNN.
The Tate brothers are accused of luring women to their luxury villa using the so called “loverboy method”, in which they start a relationship over social media, before convincing the women to come to Romania to pursue a romantic relationship. But instead they would allegedly keep women in a small studio where they were forced to work as pornographic models online, according to news website G4.
Prosecutors and the police have searched the “well-known” American-British Tate brother’s luxury villa and other addresses in the capital after evidence. The brothers are said to be well-known collectors of watches and luxury cars. They are also a “magnet” for beautiful women in the country according to the Romanian media website Antena3 CNN, due to their fame and wealth.
