Danish artist created blank canvases at exhibition called 'Take the money and run' - Court forces him to repay full fee Newsjive

A Danish artist by the name of Jens Haaning has been ordered by court to repay 492,549 Danish kroner ($69,894 ) to Kunsten Museum in Aalborg, after he was given the assignment to create amazing art for an exhibition.

Haaning created two empty canvases he titled “Take the Money and Run.”

Haaning’s lawyer, Peter Schønning, said Wednesday that the artist is appealing the ruling and declined further comment.
